If contact lenses are your preferred vision correction, we have specific exam services just for you. Contact lens fittings and corneal changes, normal or abnormal, are recorded digitally, and may be saved as full motion video images where needed. This creates records of high resolution in full color that are part of your electronic medical record, and can always be accessed or transmitted if further consultation is indicated.
We carry a variety contact lenses. The newest of the soft lenses are made from a new material, Silicone Hydrogel. These lenses transmit so much oxygen, it's as if they weren't there. Silicone Hydrogel lenses can be worn overnight safely and without consequence. They stay hydrated better than old lens designs, and are more comfortable.
We also offer a unique contact lens service called Orthokeratology. Orthokeratology is a corneal molding technique that eleminates nearsightedness without surgery. It is quick and comfortable, and costs a fraction of what surgery costs.
